Q: Is there a way I can disable certain tabs on the product or category level. For example, I want product "Test123" not to display a tab called "Shipping Info" but all the rest of my products will display this tab.

Q: I'm using Magento ver. 1.4.1.0 and have had the theme working beautifully for some weeks. I changed the menu from the right hand sidebar to the lefthand side and now the New Products and Featured Products have disappeared and I cannot see why. There are definitely products configured as 'new' and 'featured' so I would relly appreciate some help to resolve this one. My site is www.alishwholesalejewellery.co.uk.

    A: You should completed nex step.Code listed bellow should should be added to .phtml file in order to display Facebook like button. For exampe app/design/frontend/[package]/[theme]/template/catalog/product/view.phtml. getLayout()-createBlock('core/template')-setTemplate('facebooklb/like.phtml')->toHtml(); ?>

Q: Hi, instead of posting graphic banner on every locations, can I use this extension to design text box with title for specific pages and locations? For the text box, it will need couple links to different pages. If answer is yes, then how can I do it? Thanks,

    A: You can use html blocks for such purpose. You should simply select html banner mode onstead if image. Then you will be able to put text box html code into any page you need.

Q: I also have your Lightbox extension installed ... and I am wondering if there is a way with this Quick Shopping extension to NOT ONLY be able to view 'previous' and 'next' products from the product pages ... but I would also like the lightbox images to possess the same capability.Thank you!

Q: I havefirecheck loaded on my site the functionality is great but I am having a problem with speed. Once a user places an order it takes the site about two minutes to process the order! The "submitting order information" keeps spinning for a long time before processing the order. Is there a way to speed up this process? All other aspects of my site seem to be running very quickly, it is just the checkout that seems to be "lagging".

    A: Can you test order process with firecheckout turned off? Firecheckout is based on same controllers and models that default magento checkout is based on. So it should no affect checkout speed at all.One of our clients already faced same problem. It was caused by large number of orders in database and little resources dedicated to hosting account. Issue was solved by upgrading serve memory.

Q: Hi, great template, but i run into a problem.<block type="page/html_footer" name="footer" as="footer" template="page/html/footer.phtml"> I can find and edit perfectly.<block type="core/text_list" name="right" as="right" translate="label"> I cannot find the location of this, in order to edit the right column. Similar for the block called 'left'. I assume it all relates to the block type "core/xxx" which makes it difficult to find.I would appreciate some help with this.Thanks! Bas

    A: You can't edit this block directly. This block works as container. You should edit xml files in order edit content of sidecolumns.

Q: Are there any limitations to this free version which we download? I mean I cannot see the featured products slider. And the product pages are also not viewable. Can just see 3 links on the home page - Home, About & Contact I am using Magento 1.4.2.Is there any way that I can get or buy this complete theme with all the features?

Q: hi, i'm really interested in this extension because it's better than others. it allows me to use wisiwyg editor and allows other visitor to post answers aswell. but the one i already have installed was custom-made and it has another field in the (backend only) where i can select "Sold"/"Not Sold"/"Contact customer" This way i can track customer and see really how this extension help the sales in the store. i always wanted to be set automatically (wether the customer finally bought something or not), but i know it's hard work. If you could just make the field like the one i have installed i will be happy to buy it.thanks
