Q: The install went well. However in the demo you have the "Where did you hear about us" field... how do I add this. Also it seems that the pop-up when I add things ot the shopping cart is now disabled. How do I get that back or is it just gone?

A: Can you tell us what extension do you use in order to show pop up for shopping cart?"Where did you hear about us" field is added with checkout fields extension that is part of Firecheckout.
