Q: Hello, thanks for the great extension! Is it possible to set it up so that it will not display empty categories (i.e. those with no products in them?)

    A: Thanks for the quick reply! FYI I was able to find an extension that does this---and it seems to work just fine along with your Easy Catalog Images extension. It's called Disable Empty Categories http://magento.kamilborkowski.pl/disableemptycategories (Tip--if you want a category to be visible even if it has no products, that can be configured in the Magento backend in category management / display settings / show category even if empty = yes.) (I'm using Magento 1.8.)

Q: is it possible to switch this extension for some cagetory on / off? its greate extension, but I wish to have an option to manage it where it have to be shown or not. Maybe by using static block with code, so I may define in category to use or not static block, which include code to easy catalog image??? Thanks.

Q: Hello,I've been using your easy tabs & easy lightbox for quite some time with no issues. However, I received an email that stated problems were fixed with both extensions regarding IE9. I loged into magento connect to update the extensions but it seems they have not been updated there so I downloaded directly from your site.The problem is when I try to install using "Upload package file" I get a slew of errors :CONNECT ERROR: Package file is invalid Invalid package name, allowed: [a-zA-Z0-9_-] chars Invalid version, should be like: x.x.x Invalid stability Invalid date, should be YYYY-DD-MM Invalid channel URL Empty authors section Empty package contents sectionCan I just upload the files to my sever and overwrite the old ones? Or will you be updating magento connect with the latest version in the near future?Thanks for your time.

    A: You can't upload our extension packages in such way. You should just extract files from pacxkage and upload to your store.

Q: Hello TM-Team,since Magento Version 1.5+ (at the moment we work with CE v1.5.10), the featured products section does not work correct for us. I read similar posts here and try to fix the problem with reindexing and/or clear the cache - but it doesn't work.The problem is, that the featured product section shows up 29 random products (but everytime the same) and not one of the products I have set as featured.How can I fix this? In v.1.4+ the featured product section works fine...Thank you for your support

    A: First of all, I've tried to vote for this question and I received an Magento error: Error log record number: 114064501.I have the same problem. It seems that sometimes appear, sometimes not. First time I've installed Magento through Downloader (version 1.5.1.0), I've added 2 categories, 3 products (for test) and I've installed this theme directly and everything was fine.After few days, I've trying to reproduce my live store and because the 1.6.0.0 stable version was online, I had downloaded the 1.5.1.0 version and I've installed. After installation I've put database from my live store and after that I've installed this theme. At this time the same problem has occurred. The section featured was directly filled with products. Even after I've set some featured products, the system didn't care. It filled with the same products every time.Clear cache, reindex, clear the var directory and so on, have no result. If the team support has found a solution for René van den Boogaard, hope they will wrote it here. My website is http://dev.nutrienti.eu Any suggestion?Thanks!

Q: Is it possible to Add the following feature: For Assigned Products: Add the ability to search by Part Number? Currently, you can only search by ID or Name and that is not very efficient. You are not likely to know the ID and the problem with the name if you have lots of products with similarty.

Q: I really cannot see from your screenshots an option for guests to *ANSWER* questions. Sure, there is an option to ask questions, but I don't see any option for them to *ANSWER* questions without being logged in. Can you please confirm or show me a screenshot? Thanks.

Q: It would be great if I could use this extension for pop-ups. E.g. a popup every first time a unique visitor enters the webshop to welcome him/her and ask them to register for our newsletter. Are you willing to expand this extenstion with this feature?

Q: We use configurable products with associated simple products in our shop. We use super product attributes color and size. Every simple product has its own images assigned (base, small, thumbnail)Is it possible to use one of these already existing simple product images (e.g. thumnail) for the color attribute? In your demo shop, the second color (red) seems like exactly using this.Second question, is there a backend login available for the demoshop?

Q: When do you plan to release Enterprise Edition version of this extension? I really like your extension, but the fact that it is not available for EE is a bummer. I don't want to install a CE version extension on my EE 1.12 installation. Thanks.

    A: You can use CE version of Askit on EE with out any problems. It doesn't use any specific EE features or modules so should be working right out of the box.
