- This is best OPC I've used so far.I was using "check it out" previously but there was a seriously annoying bug and the developer didn't seem to care. Firecheckout is easy to configure, gets frequent updates, and developers actually answer questions. The only one complaint I have is the default frontname (checkout url) is firecheckout. I wish they would simply default it to checkout. - It's rare these days to find a Magento extension that does exactly what they tell you it does. Sometimes they exaggerate features a little (just a little, of course), sometimes the thing simply doesn't work. This one works just as you expect it to. Easy and flexible to configure, nice looking, and plays well with others.
Service Design Quality
Want to have a "Comments" field on the checkout form? You got it. Show Terms & Conditions on a popup? You got it. Create your own custom fields (e.g., "How did you hear about us?"), or insert text (CMS block) on the top/bottom of the checkout form? Well, you know by now: you got it. The "success page" which displays right after the order is submitted is a great-to-have, and I love the address autocomplete feature, which makes your site look like the big guys'. And frankly, I'm just scratching the surface here.
But then it comes their customer/technical support... What can I say? Customer service like in the good old days (I'm in my mid-60s, so I should know). No rubber-stamped or automated answers, they're always there when you need them, in spite of the large time zone difference (I'm in California). I had some issues while installing the extension on my development environment (on localhost) for testing, and they patiently and diligently helped to identify and solve my problems. Then they even installed the extension on our production server for free! I also asked several (dumb on my part, I should add) questions, and they were quick and accurate with their answers. Never patronizing, you always get the impression that you are dealing with someone on the other end that really understands your issue and genuinely wants to help you.
In summary: Don't waste your time looking at other one-page-checkout extensions (which I did). Fantastic customer service and technical support.

5. Comments field should have option to be moved at the bottom - just above Place Order

8. Sometimes Firecheckout bypasses/doesnt fully check some shipping methods (custom) which causes some problems with totals update. but this probalby gives the speed for this checkout

I wish all module developers were like Template Master. We had an issue with Internet Explorer, which was perfectly solved by TM. Issue was a human error from our side, forgot to close an html tag in our T&C, however TM solved it in no time.
Basically these guys underpromise and overdeliver. If i need a module in the future I will first check out if Template Master offers it before obtaining it else where.

- Having a one page checkout is a must have for PC users these days and after much research we settled on Firecheckout because it simple has the best features, best layout, and all the cool bells and whistles with Ajax. At this time no ones checkout is even close to this one in our opinion. And then you have Template Master Support team who we have found to be some of the best people in the business! We have a very complex cart with tax exempt modules, shipping and payment fee modules, etc. that made this install very complicated for these guys. But we both worked through each part until everything was functional both for desktop PC use and mobile (we used another skin for this). Their team even did all the CSS on our cart for no extra fee which I found above an beyond standard support! They even answer on weekends many times to help. I cannot say enough good things about this extension and the support staff. They are A+ in our book and we will continue to support this company in the future with possibly other extensions. Recently we discoverd some issue/bug with the currency changer. Our developer pointed at TM, but after contacting them it turned out to be a completely different extension that caused the problem.
We asked TM for help since we got stuck between different developers. TM helped, all the way!! They tracked down the real issue and fixed the problem.

I landed on this one from TemplatesMaster because it had all the features I wanted and is made by a developer with a serious portfolio. I have not looked back. It's a good addon which has been easy to translate and modify. I have customized the design for regular templates and both layout and design for mobile templates.
Thumbs up for their post-purchase support. I have found small bugs, all I had to do was report them using their website ticket system and sit back. - Amazing service, I had a free template since earlier and bought six modules recently. Template Master Team installed all of them for me. They answered all my questions almost promptly. I even do not know in which country they are located but they were available on line by e-mail almost at any time. I have some free third party modules already, there is always a risk that the third party modules may come in conflict with each other. My review of the extension itself: It is really well written code that loads quickly and processes with no issues. I have used two different one step checkout extensions so far as well as a heavily customized stock Magento checkout. This is by far the best. I'm annoyed I didn't install this on our site earlier. The other extensions may have improved the look of the checkout, but the usability for customers was poor. This extension functions with no problems across every platform we could test it with. A one page checkout only improves conversion if it actually works and Fire Checkout works great!
My review of the service from Templates-Master: Surprisingly good. Magento has an international following and with that I think brings some random developers that probably aren't really qualified to work with Magento. Not only do these guys know their stuff, but they understand the value of great customer service. They could have easily turned me away when I asked for some CSS customizations. Lets leave it at: After getting some extensive customization efforts from Templates-Master I myself broke some things in FireCheckout... The professionalism that Templates-Master showed me: I gave them access to my primary frontend engine (I run a distributed setup with mirrors/reverse proxies around the world on decent VPSes, with a really nice truly dedicated database engine). I don't trust anybody with my lively-hood. If it were anybody else I would have just defaulted to the standard checkout until I fixed my new add-on...
Quality Service Design
The reason I went with FireCheckout? I have bought other full-featured checkout scripts (most notably eCommerceTeam's one) and I wanted some assistance migrating it to 1.5: and all they said was "we don't support it [go away]"... Now... Whenever I buy a script, I first check if Templates-Master has something like it... And I've bought scripts from all the big vendors for the Magento platform... All of 'em (I've spent a lot of money on scripts)... I know I'll be spending a few thousand in templates alone from Templates-Master over the next few months due to the care and attention they took in my problems... Thanks! God bless. Excellent support, i have bought around 20-30 plugins for magento for my clients websites from the likes of gomage, aheadworks etc
but by far they are the best for assistance.
Template master have helped me with two custom development requests helping me integrate sagepay server/suite into one page.
Never once did they say no thats not included they just done it !
As i bought a few products of them they also gave me a discount too.
I wouldn’t trust the cheaper carts, these people are part time developers with day jobs, what happens 18 months down the line and we are on magento 1.7 and your cart is bust due to compatibility issues , i dont see the part time developer giving a hoot about you then.
template master offer line time upgrades, so at least your not left handing out to dry
Stick with the big developers for key components or you will get you fingers burnt.

- i have bought from pretty much all the big magento plugin developers and without doubt template master are the best in terms of support.

I have spent over 500$ with them and have always has top end assistace installed and getting to grips with incompatibility issues.
Pretty much all the other big plugin sellers bin you once you buy it, or tell you its a compatibility issue and not to do with there plugin.

I sent a support request and had a response within 5 minutes. We worked through the problem together (emailing back and forth) and the source of the problem was quickly identifed and fixed.
I was up and running withing 5 minutes.
I customised the checkout page a little (spacing and fonts etc) which is easy if you've got CSS chops.

- I have developed two Magento sites so I have gotten quite familiar with Magento. I have also purchased many modules that simply did not work as I had hoped for. I have purchased 2 other "one page checkout" modules and after I used Fire Checkout it became clear that this was the best one of all. This one works very well. the options for shipping to a different address and auto registering work flawlessly (we had problems with the other one page extensions). We needed a few things tweaked and their customer service was outstanding. I purchased our theme from these guys and this Firecheckout and I am just very very pleased with both of them. - I've purchased this extension for my multi store magento installation. The installation was very fast and simple. Just put the files in your server and refresh the cache!

At first there were some minor problems with the buttons and usage of the extension in the Firefox browser. It turned out this happened because we use a custom template. I contacted the Templates-Master support team and they helped me to fix the problems. It turned out there was a minor modification necessary in our styles.css file and one of the files of this extension for it to function properly.
Now I am a very satisfied customer and i bought serveral other extensions after this one.

- For my shop www.ipcam-shop.nl I was looking for a 'one step checkout' module. I am already a satisfied user of Templates Master and with this module they show again to be the best Magento proffesionals on the web.
Quality Service Design
Installation was done in 5 minutes, worked without any adaptions, changes etc. Answers on my questions before before the purchase are replied in few hours and don't contain nonsense.
Why buy the same product from the competitor which is 540 euro as this one for around 150 euro works the same and maybe even better....
For the money I saved by this purchase of Fire Checkout I just bought the Template Master's ''Ask IT' module and still there is money left ;-)

- I've purchased and installed this extension a few weeks ago and I'm very happy with my choice. The extension is working flawlessly and provides a great value for money IMO (comparable extensions can be much pricier for basically the same functions).

The support is excellent also, which is quite important. I had some compatibility problems with previously installed extensions using the same GeoIP libraries, and the team help me solve the problem in a matter of hours (if not minutes).
