EasyTabs - Magento products tabs extension
This entry was posted on August 4, 2009.
Hi,
Is it possible to set it so that a created additional CMS table dose not appear on some pages/categories?
I install the extension, but now i have the tabs showing twice. Im using magento 1.6.1 with modern theme.
How do i fix this?
yes, i have the same problem! why~~;-(
Just posted a tutorial on how change the "Be the first to review" link on the category page. You can also use it to create a link to any tab directly and activate it.
Requires custom coding on the beginner level.
Enjoy

Hello TM, thank you so much for such extension!
I am facing an issue to create a custom tab. I´ve created two new attributes and if I use simple html on them the custom tab works, but if I use an iframe code like this one () the tab isn´t displayed, it doesn´t accept the content.
Any idea what can be please?
Thanks in advance and great day to you!!

Hi all. First, thanks for a great extension. It's very very cool!
Now, I have a question. I've hunted for an answer to this, and have yet to find a working solution.
I have several different manufacturers, and I want to have an "About MFG#1" tab that displays on products by that mfg, and an "About MFG#2" tab that displays on products by that mfg, etc. I set up custom tabs, and they display on the appropriate product pages which applies to that manufacturer. All good so far.
Here's the dilemma:
I'd like to use CMS blocks for the content of the "About MFG" tabs, so if I want to edit the content I don't need to make a change on every product, just need to edit the CMS once. But I cannot find how to allow the tab (which is an attribute) to display a CMS static block. (And using CMS blocks in EasyTab won't do what I want because these tabs should only display on their respective product by that MFG, not every product).
Anybody have any insight into this?
Thanks in advance!
Markz
I have previous version of EasyTabs installed...Do I remove old easytab version then install the new version 2.0? Or will it just overwrite the files?
Thanks for the great plugin. Got a quick qseotiun Is there a way to use a shortcode to put the HTML into the post? I remember using the plugin a few months ago and I could quickly put a set into a post and it would convert to HTML? (Unless I'm remembering wrong.) But now the shortcode stays the way it is, so if I disable the plugin for example, the post won't show anything. Is there a shortcode or fast way to post sets in HTML? Thanks!
