Magento EasyLightbox

Lightbox was probably the most common widget asked us to install. Old magento wiki likghbox isntruction required some codding experience and also it some took time. But now we are proud to offer new community extension Magento EasyLightbox. This small extension will help to install Lightbox widget. Installation and configuration will take approximately 5 minutes. No files are replaced and no codding experience needed to install!

    Thank you for this extension works perfect....

    Hurry up and make it so I can use it on my CMS static blocks:)

    or I am I being thick and just need to use the rel="lightbox[rotation]" and onclick="return false;"
    with my thumbnail and large image folders?

    i'm getting the "acces denied" message when trying to acces config after installing on magento 1.4.. loggin out, flushing cash or reset the admin role does not work... can you help me out with this?

    I have the same problem as John. Getting the Access Denied on the configuration page after an upgrade to Magento 1.4.0.1

    Log out-in doesn't help, resetting permissions doesn't help, flushing cache doesn't help.. Is there an upgrade needed for Easy Lightbox to work with Magento 1.4.0+?

      Yes, we did tested it and we had no such problem. Do you have any other extension installed? We have seen that some users reported same problems with other extension at magento connect.

        I just have 1 other extension installed: the Offline Maintenance extension. Can't access the configuration page of that one either.
        I'll check if it works when I uninstall the other extension.

        Ok, i've tested it by deleting the other extensions. Still no luck. I uninstalled and re-installed Easy Lightbox, but now I have Access Denied for all of the Configuration!

          Solved! You don't make use of a 'adminhtml.xml' file for ACL. I've put the acl part from config.xml in a adminhtml.xml file and everything works fine now!

            I am getting the same access denied using version 1.3.2.4 ... the older version of lightbox worked perfect on another store with this version...getting access denied here with the new version of lightbox... Sem could you please expand...I went in the config.xml and there was nothing with acl in it at all. Did you mean the config.xml in the directory that lightbox was installed "app/code/community/TM/EasyLightbox/etc/config.xml" ??? Is this the one that you mean?

            Also getting the the access denied on 1.3.2.4 with the current version of the EasyLightbox. Where can I get the old version, that worked with 1.3.2.4?

            (Tried Re-Login, Flush-Caches, Resave Role Permission.)

    Hi,

    Just installed the extension on my Magento 1.4 store and it all seemed to install OK. I've enabled it but when I click on an image in the product detail page nothing happens? Can you advise please?

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for the great extension. It works fine except for 1 weird issue I can't figure out: when clicking on an image, the lightbox keeps appearing towards the bottom of the page. This is quite annoying as sometimes you have to scroll all the way down to see the image, which can be confusing for customers.

    Do you know what I could do to solve this?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for this extension. Looks great.
    I'm having some trouble activating your plugin.
    The install went well but for some reason I can get into the setup of easy lightbox. The ppage is blank and when I select a website view I have "access denied" eror message appearing.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would love to be able to use your extension.

    Hi I have the same problem as a lot of people can enabel the plugin? access dienied

    I have logged out and back in again and cleared cash etc

    Magento v 1.3.2.4 used I see in some post you say to use an older extention where would I find that?

    Just installed this on one of our site and everything goes well until I try setup in the config and it says access denied. If you could let me know how to sort this out I have tried logging out and clearing cache but nothing helped
