I'm using mostly configurable products, so it doesn't make sense to have "Add to Cart" in the catalog view.
How would I change the button to "View Details" to bring up the product view?

David, you should edit app/design/frontend/default/f001/templates/catalog/product/list.phtml template and replace add to cart button code.
Hi,
I've installed Magento Absolute Theme and need help with following 2 issues and will appreciate if you reply very much.
Issue1: i’m trying to create a new attribute but the field “Used for Sorting in Product Listing” is greyed out under this box it says - Depends on design theme. Does absolute them not support this? I’m using magento v1.4.1.1 and f001
Issue2: There seems to be IE8 bug in the theme - when typing any search keyword in search box the results show up, off the page in ie8 towards the right side.
Just typing 2-3 letters in search box on home page and wait few sec and a scroll bar appears on the browser window and you can see search results towards the right side after scrolling.
But in firefox it works just fine.
Please help.

How do you edit the links to each "slide" on the front page?
What if I don't want to use as many slides?
and is there an easier way to change those images? other than digging into the FTP folders.

Please check home page code and you will find that every slide has anchor tag.
i'm installed Magento 1.4.2 rc1, but i have a probleem with showing the catalog product price and available: stock after upgrade it's gone.

We're enjoying this template and figuring out how to customize it. I do have a problem, though, I can't track down. Using 1.4.1.x,
We set the Default Configuration to "f001" for Translations, Templates, Skin and Layout as instructed. Set the Home Page Design to "f001," as well.
When changing the Default Store View to "f001_[color]," only the secondary pages are changed. The Home page is still blue.
How do we get the Home Page color to change?
Bret, you should not assign any specific theme at home page design settings and admin > system > design. Please use just config settings.
Im using Dutch language pakket for magento. Everytings workt fine with this template except the "Your shopping cart is empty" on top keep showing in English. Which file sould i edit to get this text also in Dutch?

You should add translation to app\design\frontend\default\f001\locale\YOURLOCALE\translate.csv

but FF is OK.
