Thanks for the template, but how do I add pages after and before the products link on the menu?
Hello Lisa, you can add links after products menu at 'menu' static block. You will need to modify navigation template to add additional links before it.
Hello,
first of all thanks for your free themes. I consider to buy some exclusive themes from you. But first I need to sort out to important things:
1. When I install your themes I loose my 7 translations of the category names. They are shown only in english anymore. The worst thing is when I use another theme like the defoult or modern it stays so. No Italian Francais etc. anylonger viewable!!?? (Classic and Absolute Theme)
2. My Categories have mainpictures. They are large to fit modern and 2 column design. On both of your themes the are to large and have no resize effect. On Magento 1.3 and your classic theme it was resized to fit also the 3 cloumn design. But now on absolute there is no resize at all and on the classic theme it is 2-3 mm over the size!
Do you have any hints or solutions???
Thanks again
Hello Andy,
#1 Sorry but theme should not affect locales. You can only have some non translated phrases.
#2 Fixed width for categories images was removed from template in Magento 1.4. That is the reason why your images are shown now at full size.
Basic yet powerful template. I've seem many requesting simple magento templates. This Classic template is easy to install and modify, we cannot complain!!
Thanks for this gem. Learned so much more here than the Magento site itself.
I wanted a dark theme so I modified the images and custom.css to achieve this. However I would like the background of the main content area to be white just on the 2 and 3 column pages. Been scratching my head for days and stuck now.

Are you able to give me any pointers please?
Thanks
Hello Siva, can you send us link to your store so we can check it and find solution for you?
Hello mate!
The template is great, I am just having one issue, the "PRODUCTS" dropdown is not showing, any idea why? It is like behind the slider...
Thanks!!!
Rodz, most likely you have problems with categories structure. You should add child categories as child to your root category.
That was it, thanks a lot mate!!
I know it is possible to not have the subcategories as a dropdown on the top links but for the life of me i cant remember how.
Also... Is it possible to have the side link bar that pulls from the categories but not show sub categories? I have several sub categories and the side bar gets rather long
Beautiful theme!!!

One more question.... I am getting the message " There are no products matching the selection. " even when i have products in the categories. How can i fix this?
Well I found the answer to not having the drop down link bar across the top. Here ya go.
Change the top.phtml file the path is " app/design/frontend/default/f002/template/catalog/navigation "
Remove the code below ... mine is line 41 to 45
/*
getStoreCategories() as $_category): ?>
drawItem($_category) ?>
*/
Also found the reason my slider was not working.. it was the wysiwyg .. I set it to disable by default in the configuration.
You should try refresh magento indexes in admin.
Blimy! There's a lot to learn with Magento! Great theme, thank you so much, and thank you even more for replying to people on here. I was completely stuck as to why the theme was breaking as I navigated through the site - but read all the comments and you pointed out to check the product had the right theme assigned. Magento gives so many features it makes finding a simple little thing very time consuming!
