  Hi there,
  
  i'am new with magento and i'am trying to change the default theme to this magento classic theme but it will not work for me.
  In the description should be an Installation instruction but i cann't find it in my download.
  
  Can someone help me how to install this skin? Remember i'am new with magento.

  How can I disable or remove the newsletter subscribe box at the bottom of the template ?

  Hi Guys,
  Got the Classic Theme which is brilliant but am trying to insert a link in the slider/glider on the four images but as soon as I do it breaks the js code and throws out an error message:
  
  Am I right in thinking you can put a link on the four images that slide and if so how?
  
  example below:

  Hi!
  
  I've a problem with the slider in Firefox, it works ok in IE. However your demo shop is working in firefox so it is probably not a browser setting.
  
  Have downloaded a new f002 theme, no midification and still the slider isn't working in firefox. Any ideas?
  
  Love you theme, psd's and template, I'm soon live with a shop styled with your help.

      You where asking about the editor. No I'm using VI. Is Fontis WISIWIG editor suggested?

        Hello Lapplander, no Fontis editor just breaks some code. So it's recommended to turn it off during installation.

  I'm sure this has been answered already, but I could not find it in the posts. How do I get my categories to show? I've added several, but the do not appear anywhere.

    Hello Brett, you should go to Admin > System > Manage Stores > open your default store and assign root category.

    Hello Brandon, yes you should download additional package from our server http://freedemo.templates-master.com/downloads/f002.classic.9.colors.zip and copy over installed theme.

  It works, the subscribe newsletter box is now removed from the footer of the homepage. So I am almost there. I've one question, in which stylesheet can I find the color settings form the grey hyperlinks in the footer of the homepage. I've searching in all of them and ty a lot but with no result ;-(

  I have a question I can't find the answer to anywhere.
  
  I want to display only the root catagories in the top-menu, so no levels. I know this can be set in Admin, however then the levels in the side-menu also go away and I don't want that.
  
  I found a posting stating that by modifying $this->getStoreCategories() in top.xhtml to $this->getStoreCategories(1) should do the trick, but this has no effect.
  
  Can you help me make this possible ?

    Hello Rene, you can hide second level of navigation with css. Please add something like this
    
    
#nav ul.level0 {display: none !important;}
