    Hi!

    I’ve noticed problems adding custom.css file. There is something wrong. The website don’t show the objects or widgets on the correct place, also it don’t show new colors.

    Hi, I’m running on a customised version of the Classic theme for Magento 1.3. I am considering upgrading to 1.4 which would involve upgrading to Classic 1.4 as well. However, simply upgrading the theme would most likely overwrite all my changes.

    Any ideas on the best way to efficiently upgrade, other than going through the skin files one by one and rewriting the changes?

    Thanks.

      Sorry but 1.3 and 1.4 template version are really different. That is why there is no easy way to do upgrade and keep all changes.

    I am experienced in CMS systems but new to Magento so I apologize if this is very basic. Outside of changing the Callout1 and Callout2 jpg’s, how do I remove the callout blocks in the lefthand column? (The ones advertising free shipping and the wrong contact info). I have tried to search menus and code but haven’t found anything obvious. If I don’t get an answer soon I will probably just remove the code altogether, but would rather not do that. Also, they both point to the shopping cart, how would I change the url they point to?. Thanks for your help!

    I have installed the Fishpig’s Magento/WordPresss Integration Extension, is there anyway this theme can be converted to a wordpress theme?

    • TemplatesMaster October 2, 2010 at 9:00 pm #

      Sorry Lee but we don’t see any way to easily convert this theme to WordPress theme.

      • fishpig November 11, 2010 at 9:44 pm #

        The module uses the Magento theme to display the WordPress content. As a result, you would only have to add a few lines of CSS to make the WordPress portion look good.

    This is a great theme! It really is elegant and professional looking and it is totally worth the $29 to remove the plug in the footer. But I will give you a plug here: Templates Master Rocks! How do I change the background color that shows on all pages.
    The background empty spaces on the sides that are light gray.

    • TemplatesMaster November 15, 2010 at 6:11 pm #

      In recent 1.4 version you can edit main background color at custom.css (line 70)

      .main-container {
      background:url("../images/content-bg.gif") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #E9ECEE;
      ....
      }

    Hi.

    I just upgraded magento from 14.1.1 to 1.4.2.0 with this classic theme, every thing is working except the new products on the front page.

    The first row is showing 3 products correct.

    Second row shows only 1 product, it should be 3 as in the first.

    Now there is a third row showing the missing 2 products that belong to the second row.

    Cache is disabled, tryed to flush it, and reindexing also did not work.

    the url is this http://test2.fashionsilver.eu

    Does someone know why this is incorrect?

    • Smykker Online January 30, 2011 at 3:44 pm #

      Adding this line:

      6

      In the layout for the front page cms, made it work.
