Magento CE Version 1.4.1.0 Upgrade Notice

Magento 1.4.1.0 release was announced on June 10.
The most important changes were made to improved PayPal integration and the database structure of the Sales module. According to recent release notes Magento brings us also a lot of new great features and fixes. We were testing our themes and extension with recent Magento version to find possible problems for the last several days. Some parts of our templates were affected by latest release and will require modifications.
We are planning to release upgrade patch within next week.
We don’t recommend upgrading Magento to 1.4.1 for now.
Thanks for the notice, greatly appreciated. I was wondering if the Magento themes will all work with 1.4.0.1 (one version before 1.4.1.0). I couldn’t see any template specific compatibility info anywhere on your site so far.
Hello Nick, thank you for you interest. All our themes support Magento 1.4.0. We do expect to upgrade all themes to 1.4.1 within 3-4 weeks.
I have noticed that the Classic Theme is not compatible right off the bat. Anyone using that template should hold off. Let us know when there is a fix.
The Template works fine on 1.4.1 but the EasyTabs have a problem. The upselltab fails.

I am not sure that the template will translate without any issues as recognized by TemplatesMaster.

Any word on an exact date for a 1.4.1 compatible release of this theme, I need to push a store out ASAP and there seem to be issues upgrading from 1.4.0.1 so would rather start with a fresh 1.4.1. Thanx

I received no advice of the update being an issue, some of us have no control over when updates are applied and now I have a commercial site that was just about to go live and the front page is down – cmon guys, is this update going to be available anytime soon?

I bought 2 templates from you and I’m about to buy another one.
The problem is that none of those 2 templates work with magento 1.4.1 even though they were specified as compatible with 1.4.x at the time of purchase.

Hello, please contact us at our store support form. All our themes were upgraded to 1.4 and 1.4.1. Unfortunatly we have not got any email from you about this problem.

Just wanted to say that I received the updated files, however the homepage products still don’t show up. Firebug says it’s a problem with tabBuilder.js.
Please let us know if you still have any problem. Our customer service said that this problem was fixed at your installation.

All our products were upgrade to work wit 1.4.1
I am having problems with jQuery interfering with the Navigation (Top) mouseover and mouseout not showing up after I installed my jQuery Slider. If I disable the jQuery scripts everything works, but once I enable them I get errors.
How can I resolve these issues. I am using Absolute 1.4.1.0.
We do not recommend using any jQuery based scripts on Magento.

I installed a theme that I was using in 1.3.1.2 to a new migration to 1.4.2 and it totally does not work.
The 2 column right pages are all wacked out with all the content smashed to the left. also the 1 colums pages for the CMS have a bad issue.
These problems are live on tiecoon2.com. Any help?
Please download and use right theme version for Magento 1.4.2. It’s available at our store right now.
