Our Magento Classic Theme got enormous popular across the Magento community. It was downloaded more then 16 000 times from Magento Connect. We had answered hundreds of question about installing our Magento Classic Theme at our blog and helped hundreds of people to solve different issues during installation process. Some people also asked us to create video tutorials on different Magento features. We are glad to introduce today first screencast from our new magento tutorials series. It’s about installing our Magento Classic Theme. We tried to explain all main issues and question. In case you still have any problem or still have some question feel free to post your questions and we will be glad to answer them.
where can i find the installation page that i see used in this video to copy and paste code?
nm found it on the magentocommerce page there are two download links there to your server and one of them has it, thanks for the great template definitely purchasing commercial license keep up the good work
Hello Parky, template installation instruction comes together with template files. But in case you installed it from Magento connect then you can download from our server .
…err, and where is the “magentocommerce” page? Please can you make this abit more intuitive – afterall, you are not Varien are you?

I’ve recently installed Magento and the f001 theme (Which by the way is AWESOME!!). but as soon as i refresh the front page, i get the following error message:

This message only appears on the home page. all the other pages seem to be working perfectly.

Hello Jose, please check xml code for main page. Most likely it was not properly copied.
I installed the template flowing the file: f001.absolute_1\installation\install.html
but idon’t know why the product appears only in the slider in bottom (Featured products)
how can i display the showcase in the middle?

I fell a little silly asking for support on a free template but here I am.
The template looks great, except by laptop users (or others with resolution over 1024 x 768.) They see a tiled and left justified header and background.
Is there a way that I can get the top header background and the main content background to center and not repeat?

I am working on rebuilding my site using the f002 free template since the template that I had purchased is not working correctly with the new Magento version and i need product image uploads. My question is: Is there a way to create additional drop down menus in this template like the Products menu? When I try to add a Root Category I can only get the new root category to display under the Products Menu after changing it in the Manage stores menu. Please help!

Be nice to have a 1.4 Version install video. I’ve tried following this one and installing but I cant seem to get it to work correctly.
Hello Rob, it’s absolutely the same. All you need is just to set WISISYG editor off during installation.

Hello Erik, template files are missing or wrong theme assigned as default. Please also check if you have any theme assigned to home page at custom design tab.
